Just feel like I have to address this. But I don’t think I was. All I was saying is that there is someone out there retagging/reposting pictures that belong to certain people. It’s rude to just steal someone’s pics like that, no matter what age.
And I was not being rude or disrespectful to the girl, there are other posts out there that are far more rude than mine, and I asked everyone to keep her age in mind. The thing that I cannot stand is the blatant disregard for respect. But she is young and will learn from her mistakes. Please don’t be rude either. Thanks. =)
PS: look at the language of your post, versus mine. Then think about the last sentence of your post.
Why? Because if not for my mother in Paraguay letting me and my sisters live, we would never have been adopted to such wonderful families. We would never be able to find each other and realize we have a blood related family. I am 19 going on 20 and to this day I still thank my birth mother for the choice she made to let us live.
I was adopted as well, but why not let people make the choice for themselves rather than force them into it. Change people’s opinions with your story, and rather than tell them it’s wrong through legality.
I am completely against abortion. It’s you’re fault if you go out there and have un-protected sex. I mean seriously? People are going out and getting abortions saying they arent ready, blah blah blah. If you arent ready, then give him/her up for adoption. Dont take a life away because “you arent ready.” That’s a stupid reason. The only reason I can understand someone getting an abortion, is if it puts the mother or baby in danger. Other than that, no, I dont believe in it.
Have a problem with my views?
Cause I dont care if you do,
What if the condom breaks? What if the pill doesn’t work properly? Then should that woman be forced to carry a baby for 9 months because of the fault of the manufacturer? I am wholeheartedly against abortions, but that’s my choice. Putting an end to legal abortions does not end abortion. It just forces people to find another way, ie: do it illegally in unsafe environments that could not just end in the abortion but also the life of the mother.
Also, people don’t want to be human incubators for 9 months, deal with the hormone levels, post partum depression, and then the separation anxieties. Personally, I would be willing to deal with all of that, if it meant for a life to come out of it. But that’s my choice, and I’m not going to force others to make the same.
Why get your panties all in a bunch? She was *one* person (with another person inside). If we are talking pro-life vs pro-choice, the show is more pro-choice since Emma give up her baby up for adoption, vs having an abortion. A pretty gutsy move for a 18 yr old. (ABOUT THE SHOW "ONCE")
"more pro-choice" did you mean pro-life? cause a pro-choice person would have had the abortion.
Ugh the ignorance.... Pro-choice, means the ability to choose between having or not having an abortion. Pro-life, means there being no choice between the two, you're stuck with the baby whether you like it or not.
Example- I am totally against having an abortion myself, but I am a pro choice supporter because I think it's despicable to tell someone what to do with their body.
That's what YOU mean by pro-choice. So many of the people who are out there in the forefront of the "Pro-Choice" movement encourage women to get abortions, without thinking about it, or in the case of young teenage girls, absolutely no discussion with their families.
I personally am pro-life, and don't believe that I could condone murder. I believe a woman can choose to use condoms, birth control, or abstinence. But once a LIFE is created, killing that life is not a choice.
I seriously feel like this is a typical response from someone who is pro-life to a pro choice person. I hardly doubt there area people out there that go, "Oh she's pregnant, time for her to get an abortion." I do agree however that there are some pro-choice people out there who do go, "Well if you are having doubt then get an abortion because this baby is going to know and be screwed up."
And I don't think that it is "so many of the people" but more of, whom the media has latched onto. Who wants to watch a news report of people who think that there is middle ground? No one.
Unfortunately the pro choice movement has moved away from it's original message about being choice rather than than what it stands for now (pro-abortion). IDK, maybe there needs to be three positions now rather than just the two. Pro-life, pro-choice, and pro-abortion.
Also, it is not just my own definition. Many young people my age also think the same thing. Of course, I am not speaking for everyone, and I live in a part of the US that has more liberal thinking. But, just think about it, it has the word "choice" in it. Therefore implies the choice between having an abortion and not.
