IGNORANCE!

Person 1: Why get your panties all in a bunch? She was *one* person (with another person inside). If we are talking pro-life vs pro-choice, the show is more pro-choice since Emma give up her baby up for adoption, vs having an abortion. A pretty gutsy move for a 18 yr old. (ABOUT THE SHOW "ONCE")
Person 2: "more pro-choice" did you mean pro-life? cause a pro-choice person would have had the abortion.
ME: Ugh the ignorance.... Pro-choice, means the ability to choose between having or not having an abortion. Pro-life, means there being no choice between the two, you're stuck with the baby whether you like it or not.
 Example- I am totally against having an abortion myself, but I am a pro choice supporter because I think it's despicable to tell someone what to do with their body.
RESPONDER 1: That's what YOU mean by pro-choice. So many of the people who are out there in the forefront of the "Pro-Choice" movement encourage women to get abortions, without thinking about it, or in the case of young teenage girls, absolutely no discussion with their families.
 I personally am pro-life, and don't believe that I could condone murder. I believe a woman can choose to use condoms, birth control, or abstinence. But once a LIFE is created, killing that life is not a choice.
ME: I seriously feel like this is a typical response from someone who is pro-life to a pro choice person. I hardly doubt there area people out there that go, "Oh she's pregnant, time for her to get an abortion." I do agree however that there are some pro-choice people out there who do go, "Well if you are having doubt then get an abortion because this baby is going to know and be screwed up."
 And I don't think that it is "so many of the people" but more of, whom the media has latched onto. Who wants to watch a news report of people who think that there is middle ground? No one.
 Unfortunately the pro choice movement has moved away from it's original message about being choice rather than than what it stands for now (pro-abortion). IDK, maybe there needs to be three positions now rather than just the two. Pro-life, pro-choice, and pro-abortion.
 Also, it is not just my own definition. Many young people my age also think the same thing. Of course, I am not speaking for everyone, and I live in a part of the US that has more liberal thinking. But, just think about it, it has the word "choice" in it. Therefore implies the choice between having an abortion and not.
 OK enough ramble...
