Can someone please please make something with Will Graham and Sam where Sam is sneaking around following will. I know it’s a deer and not a moose following Will, but they both have antlers. Plus I just think it would look awesome.
I want to grow up not because i hate my parents or want to get out of home but because i want the freedom to do tiny things like decided what furniture goes in my house and what colour the walls are and if i should go out at night rather than stay in doing work for once I want to decide what music to play in my own home while im cooking or cleaning and how loud it is. I want to experience the world without a barrier and to be able to express who i am through the little details.
sadly, that shit ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. Because with that comes responsibility. If you fuck up, you fuck up.
honestly, some of the sexiest things about a guy is the way his voice sounds when he’s tired, the smirk of satisfactory he gets on his face when he knows he’s done something good, and the protective instincts he has when it comes to his girl
do those americans who reblogged that post actually think we have it easier in the UK in terms of grades lol wow
What I learnt from the American system is that teachers can be lenient if they get to know you better and see you working hard. They have that type of personal connection of a student/teacher and they’d act accordingly. When you’re a B+, a teacher might bump you to a good A- simply because you’re a good student in their class.
Like seriously, our exams are basically sent to complete stranger teachers who probably could be in Dubai for all we know and its put in such an objective view that it’s just affjvdflkvfkjk.
not to mention the complete joke that is the SAT
American here, who has learned the British system.
I actually got into a fight with someone today over the fact that the SAT was easy. Basically what I said was you have to learn how to play the game, and she got into a bitch fit saying that if it was easy then why didn’t everyone do well. But it really is just a game. The best skills I learned for taking the SATs were about how to effectively guess the right answer. It’s not a measure of knowledge in any way just a measure of how to take a test.
Also, as for the British vs. American grading system/school system, I actually think the American is easier. In the American system, you do your work and you get graded on things like class participation and homework and tests and whatever else the teacher decides to throw in. In the British system, at least where I work, it’s just about 90% exams and maybe 10% everything else. I would have absolutely died and failed. Both have their merrits but I’m really glad I came up in the British system.
PS: It’s also easier to get into American Universities than ones from the UK.
Tomorrow is May 2nd, the day the battle of Hogwarts 15 years ago. The day that Harry, Ron and Hermione snuck back into Hogwarts and destroyed the Horcruxes. The day that Harry finally defeated Voldemort. We remember everyone who fought in the war and all those who died. Fred Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Colin Creevey, Severus Snape and more. May we raise our wands to those who fought and died. Remember, remember May 2nd 1998.
